Your generosity makes the Buhler Public Library even better! Please consider donating money, materials, or your time to improve the library for patrons of all ages.

Volunteering:

From running the front desk to projects behind the scenes, your donated time makes a big difference. Fill out this short volunteer survey to let us know your interests and we’ll be in touch.

Cash Donations:

Your gift will be used where it’s needed most to ensure the library collection is up to date. Buhler Public Library is a 170(c)(91) organization and your gift will be considered tax deductible. Please contact the Library if you have any questions. Thank you for considering a donation to your library.

Memorial Gifts:

Honor or remember your loved ones with a gift to the library. These contributions purchase books for the library collection. Book plates acknowledging the memorial or honorarium gift are placed in each book and the family of the deceased or the honoree will be notified of the donation. Please make your checks payable to the Buhler Public Library. Gifts may be dropped off in person or mailed to the library at PO Box 466, Buhler KS 67522

Bequest:

Including the library in your will or estate planning leaves a lasting gift to our community. Contact your attorney or the Hutchinson Community Foundation to learn more about leaving a legacy.

Donate materials:

Donate your new or gently used books and DVDs to the library. When materials are donated to the library, they are sorted to determine if any can be added to our collections. If not, the items are passed on to our annual book sale or used book seller, as appropriate. All of the funds generated in these ways go back to benefit the library. The Library accepts the majority of used books and DVDs, with some exceptions. We do not accept magazines, textbooks, encyclopedias, or VHS tapes. In addition, items that have mold or water damage cannot be accepted as that damage is permanent.
